Talked to Dan tonight on the way home from work. He's going to the doctor's next week to have an angiogram. Fingers crossed everything turns out okay. He didn't have much to say. He seemed pretty bored and said he hasn't been sleeping well, probably because he's worried about next week.

Had a good day at work today. Nice customers and we stayed busy most of the day. One more day and I get a day off! Lots to do for the move. I brought home some boxes; hopefully I'll get some more packing done tomorrow night. I'm still really tired from getting up early yesterday. I need to go to bed earlier!

Adrian's coming down next week to help me pack and get rid of stuff. One more week of SGA and then we suffer until fall. *sigh* I really enjoyed watching last night. I'd forgotten all the fun Sheppard moments. I want season four to come RIGHT NOW!

Still doing good with the cooking. I was very lazy this week and didn't get much exercise in at all. Must do better next week!

Damn, why can't I figure out how to make a subject line on this thing???

After having this blog for almost a year, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to give posting a try. Not that I have much to say.

The countdown to moving out has begun. July 3rd I take possession of my new apartment in Hallam, PA. I'm told that, until recently, it was Hellam, but the local religious leaders took offense. *eyeroll*

I'm giving myself an extra 2 weeks to move out of here, so I can make sure everything is packed and cleaned up when I leave. I'll be going from a 1hr 15min commute, to a 7 min one. O.o I'm not sure what I'll do with all that extra time...except, oh I don't know, have a life! It's been a long 6 years and I am looking forward to the new place more than I can say.

It's brand new, freshly built, and in a quiet community. I'm going to have my own washer/dryer - OMG! This makes me so happy! - and since when did the ability to do my laundry whenever I want become such a turn on? No pool, but they do have a workout room. I'd like to work the treadmill into my daily routine.

Sorting through stuff and packing is going slow, but there has been progress. I plan to donate a ton of books to a local place I found out about. They open up every weekend and give books away for free to anyone who wants them. I think that's a cool idea. I'm also dumping most of my old video tapes and record albums. That should free up a lot of space, as I used to be quite the avid collector of both.

So excited!! I guess that will do for a first post.
